The technical specification for Genesys Cloud Edge devices show Warranty as "3-year Advanced Product Replacement".
Is this the same as "Advanced Warranty Replacement" listed in the HARDWARE WARRANTY AND SUPPORT GUIDE?Does Genesys offer service to extend this warranty period?
Paulo, yes I agree that's probably one of the key reasons why Genesys wasn't interested in supporting VMWare for Virtual Edges and has also stopped reselling the hardware. Although it is good that we're now able to at least look at other hardware options for those physical Edges.For us down here it would be great if AWS put some serious thought into creating an NZ region. Those of us with BYOC Cloud had a much easier time leading up to the CIDR change happening this weekend than the on-premise deployments.
Do you think there'll be much interest still in physical on premise Edges from a DR perspective?
