Thank you for your response. We are using premise edges, for some reason the provisioning does not happen, it throws an error of CA certificate error at phone.
Do we have to install any certificate manually?

The firmware will be updated as part of the provisioning process to the version available on the Genesys Cloud Edge. I have not had any issue that a previous firmware version has caused provisioning to fail.
However if you are trying to provision the phone to a BYOC C /GCV instance then there is a requirement that a Polycom VVX 201 must be on version 5.5.2 or greater https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/managed-phones-models-and-features-matrix/. If your phone is on a lower version then you would need to manually upgrade it first to a supported version.

We have a few customers using Polycom handsets and the Edge devices provide the firmware to the handsets when they boot up. However this firmware is very out of date. Does anyone know how to change this on the Edge devices?
