  • 1.  Use of SMS communication within Purecloud

    Good Afternoon Everyone,

    We are looking at running a trial of SMS communication with our customer's through Genesys Purecloud and wondered whether any current users had any advice or feedback of it's use. Benefits, pitfalls or anything at all would be welcome as information on this matter.

    (As a company we would be using it as a means of confirmation of status for currently open technical cases, be it a confirmation of closure or request of when a technician will attend etc.)

    Many thanks in advance to any and all that reply, your input is much appreciated.

    Should any further information about our intended usage be needed to form an answer, please do not hesitate to ask and I'd be more than happy to expand in any way needed.

    Hi Nik,

    We use the SMS feature within purecloud. its a basic offering but it works! its easy to use and our agents havent struggled with its integration. If you have any specific questions am happy to answer them.
