  • 1.  Connecting a Cisco System

Good Afternoon, I have been asked to look into a project that revolves around adding a transfer option between our IC 4.0 SU5 system and a 8.5 Cisco CUCM system. From what I understand all we should have to do is create an SIP Line connecting these two systems but I was wondering if any one would have any insight over this. At this point it won't be a full intergration but just to allow transfer of calls across a line the Cisco system and back if they need too. Any idea's would be helpful.

If all you need is a simple transfer, then yes a SIP line, group, and dial plan entries will do the trick.

If the Cisco system is not on your network, and you are connecting to another network rather than connecting two gateways, you will also need to check that the correct routing and firewall exceptions are in place.
