  • 1.  How to Configure SIP Trunk on CIC Server ?

    Posted 10-30-2017 13:09
I have to configure a SIP account directly at the line container. I am not using any media gateway. My SIP Provider is not listed in the certified options. The SIP provider follows user authentication based access. Has a login & password. The Setup is a small setup with 3 servers ( 1- CIC, 1- Media Gateway, 1-Database) How do I configure it ?

Under the SIP trunk you create to the carrier in the SIP line configuration select Authentication from the left side. Check the authentication check box and then enter in the username and password the SIP carrier is requesting.

To me it looks like the remote IP address is rejecting your TCP packet when you try to send the SIP invite to the remote location. I would confirm the IP address you are suppose to be sending the SIP call is correct and if there is a firewall between the server and the remote endpoint the firewall is configured to allow the traffic.

With this error, it wouldn't surprise me if either the IP address of the sender isn't allowed or the protocol should be UDP instead of TCP.
