  • 1.  How to initiate a call from a third-party-application?

Hi together! how can a call get initialised by a third-party-application? E.g. the Agent is pressing a button next to a textfield with a given Phone number (yes, it is looks like a CRM) and the result should be that CIC is creating a call to the IC Agent (Station is ringing, number is displayed in IC client) and after hook up the CIC is calling the number from the textfield. What are the main steps using the IceLib API. Information that are available: - IC Agent user Name (equal to Windows User Name) - Number to be dialed in E.164 Format This should be enough, right? Thanks, Robert

first option is webbased... Other option (with Client Installed) is behind the call button a command line command to the .exe from the client with -callto [target] If Interaction Client is already running on your workstation, this argument instructs it to call the target number. If Interaction Client is not already running on your workstation, this argument logs you on to Interaction Client (via the usual process) and calls the target number once a connection exists.
