  • 1.  How to start recording from the moment there was an answer

    Good day, We want to record the interaction of an outbound campaign from the moment the other party answers. Currently we seem to loose the first few seconds as the answering machine detection decides to start the agentless campaign or not. Is it some obscure setting we need to set or something? We're okay with recording garbage from answering machine and cleaning those record afterwards.

    There are diagnostic recordings which records the call analysis piece of the dialer call so I know the system can record this piece. Not sure however if you can get recorder to include the diagnostic piece but I suspect there is probably a non-documented server parameter to make this work. I would suggest you open a ticket with your VAR to see if Genesys can provide final confirmation if this is possible or not.
