  • 1.  Removing Entries from IC Public Contacts

    I have full Administrative rights and can add and delete from the IC Public Contacts list. However, when I try to remove one of our specific entries, I receive the following error: "Delete Failed: Unable to delete contact. The reason was: Data Manager error -17311 in CMDi3Contacts:Delete: Cannot delete the contact record because one or more speed dial entries exist." I checked all public speed dials and the user is not listed. He must be in someone's private list. Is there a way to override the private list and delete the entry? If not, is there an easy way to find out which list he is on?

    No way to override the private list or find which one it is that I've seen, but what you can do is delete the information in the contact, and re-use the entry later for a different contact. It will automatically update the changes you make in whatever speed dial its in.
