We upgraded our backup server from 2018 R2 P36 to 2021 R2 P10 but we have yet to upgrade our clients.  When I was testing the upgrade, everything was working as expected except the call interaction was not showing in the My Interactions tab of the 2018 client.  It did show correctly in the 2021 client.  I was under the impression this was backwards compatible and we would be able to upgrade our servers before upgrading the clients, is this not the case?

I just tested this as we're also upgrading to 2021 R2 P10 and one of our test environments is on 2018 R2 P16.  Placing an outbound call from the client resulted in an interaction in my interactions as expected as did placing a call into our 2021 R2 P10 environment and transferring it to myself directly using the 2018 R2 client.

I think you may have something else going on unless there are specific fixes related to queues/my interactions in higher patches of 2018 R2.

So our backup server was on an earlier patch for 2021 R2, I went to patch 10 and tested this morning and everything worked a expected.  We will be running on 2021 R2 P10 for the day and if all goes well, we will upgrade the other server and start upgrading the clients!

Do update to 2021 R2 P10 mate, older R2 versions has some serious attendant bugs, and it loses its config

its all fixed with P10.
