  • 1.  StatServerAgent subsystem not started impact on PMQ generation.

    Hello community, 

    We had an issue after a switchover where the statserveragent subsystem was not started. we then find that more likely there were no PMQ's generated for the time the subsystem was down therefore i can't seem to find data on the reports even after reprocess all PMQ's.

    Has anyone had an issue like that and were you able to get any data back??

    i guess you opened a support case for this as well? 
    as there are no PMQ files created when the subsystem was down as you wrote, there should be nothing to process.. so this sounds like a true loss of data.

    As far as I'm aware, PMQ is only used to "protect" data being written back to the database (or, in the case of Dialer, from the ODS to the CCS.) This is intended to mitigate against situations where the receiving server (CCS or DBMS) is not available.

    Sadly, communications between subsystems on the same server are not protected in this way.

    I could be wrong, but that's my understanding....

    I got a response from support saying that if the subsystem was not running then no PMQ's were created in the CIC server therefore no logs written and the data is lost, so just wonder what the final discussion for this was, we are on 2018 Pureconnect.
