    Good Morning

    I have a question:
How many participants can be added to a conference call in Interaction Desktop?

    Hi Sajed,

I do not believe there is an interaction desktop limit, i believe your limit would be how many lines your phone has. If your phone is configured for 2 lines, then you could have 2 other people besides yourself that could be on the conference call.

    Thank you,

I'm not sure if there is a theoretical limit to conference party counts (I'm sure there is) but it is quite high. Using your client app of choice, iDesktop or iConnect, will allow you to add to your heart's content and is not limited by the phone or station type in use.

Along with the system overall limits, of course you would need to consider external line/session capacity if external parties will be included.

Anyone on the Genesys side have any details on overall theoretical system limits?

I believe the limitation would be Media Server resources. I'm not 100% certain, but from a limitation / resourcing perspective, I think an ad-hoc conference acts the same as an Interaction Conference, so it may be worth looking at the documentation for resourcing there....
