  • 1.  IWT Chat - alerting customer to updated Chat window

    Hi All,

    Just wanted to confirm that in Interaction Web Tools implementation of the standard Web Chat HTML examples - that there isn't anything available to alert a customer that their chat session has new content?

    This being either playing a sound and/or changing the title of the relevant tab/window?

    ​Hello,

    You are right, you need to dev to have this feature. It's possible but it requires a recent version of the browser on the client site.
