Interaction Connect login URL

    how do we login to interaction connect? i tried searching for the URL and everywhere in the documents i find "ask your administrator for URL".

    any help would be appreciated.

    Mallesh,

    It's hard to answer your question without knowing your role within your organization (admin, business user, agent, etc) but I'll try.

    Interaction Connect would have been installed on an internal web server on your environment (premise based) or in the Genesys cloud (PureConnect Cloud - formerly known as CaaS).  An administrator would be able to tell you the login URL for that.  - I know that this statement is not helpful... :)

    That said, if you know the web server where it's installed, the default "site" is ININApps.  Therefore, try http://<webservername>/ininapps and see if that takes you to the login screen.

    If you are an administrator, and are using IIS on a locally-hosted server, log on to the IIS manager, expand Sites, and review the individual sites listed.  You should be able to ascertain from there what the internal URL is for your users to log in.

    Hello , 

    The URL should be
    1- For interaction Connect Client: http://servername/ININApps/Client and if you are using the default site, it will be http://servername/client
    2- For WFM: http://servername/ININApps/WFM and if you are using the default site, it will be http://servername/WFM

    Thanks Aly for your response.

    I figured that out yesterday with help from Blayne. Now I have hosted the application in IIS and have reached the login page. however as soon as i enter my IC server hostname it says there is a problem communicating with the server.

    any idea why it would not communicate?

    ​This was the same error I received last week when using IE 11. I was able to connect using Chrome. I posted this question last week, what browsers are supported on Interaction Connect but have not received a repose as of yet so would be interesting to know.

    Dear All

    I am facing this problem in my system
    I make the IIS server and configure it as it HTTP so it can path the server authentication

    and when I choose windows authentication OR CIC authentication it gives me this screen   


    I didn't find any folder or file called API on the CIC_Web_Applications_2018_R2



    Please any help on this or how can I make it work 
    and it is necessary to find this file or this is the mistake

    There is no API folder in the ININApps or its sub folder. dont worry on that.

    i just managed to login on my interaction connect using 2018 R1 setup. it should work even with R2 setup i committed a few mistakes which i realized while redoing it with R1 setup.

    i installed it with HTTPS using self signed certificate. its easy just take a close look while performing the configuration.

    Hi 

    I am facing a similar issue here , And i get the below error when I try to login.
    I verified the configurations several times and i dont see anything being missed.
    Both Web server and CIC server are in the same domain and environment.

    Please find the error screenshot and let me know your inputs and advice on this.
    I get the following error when i try to login with CIC Server name. ( Refer Attached Screenshot )
    There was a problem communicating with the server. Check your server selection again, and contact your administrator if problems persist.

    Appreciate your help and support.
    I raised a case with Genesys Support and I am still waiting for an update ( 0002897943 )

    This page lists supported browsers http://testlab.inin.com/ProductsPage.aspx?ProductType=36

    IE 11 is listed as supported.

    I configured the URL to use https and still I notice the same error.
    All the certs have been trusted and imported.

    I noticed from CIC HttpPlugin logs the following error.
    Any idea how to troubleshoot on this one.

    Hi Vishnu,

    I cannot help you with your specific problem, but we find it difficult to configure IIS for use with CIC. So we moved to Apache for Windows, and this was a straightforward configuration. You simply had to add the given lines to the Apache configuration file, and you are done.

    TIP: Use normal HTTP first to test the connectcion (in both directions Agent => Apache and Apache => CIC), and then switch to HTTPS, Step by Step.

    Windows integrated authentication is only valid if you use HTTPS on both ends.

    Thanks for your response.
    Unfortunately our client webserver does not have apache and they never used apache before hence we are using IIS.
    Our other applications are also setup on IIS.
    As mentioned , I did try to setup on ISS using http and got the same result , then configured using Https to see the same result again.
    However , I will try to see if i can configure using Apache.
    I have raised a ticket with Genesys Support , I will try to have a screensharing session to troubleshoot this.
    I will keep this post updated.

    I am sure this is an issue with setting-up IIS.
    I had faced similar issue when I tried to set this up in 2018, but once IIS was configured correctly its been working fine.

    If you have to use IIS, I would suggest start from the beginning on the web server setup document and make sure none of the step is missed.
    For https to work, the certificates that you setup in IIS should be correct for that server.

    Hi

    I noticed that for my Issue the CIC Server HTTPS certificate was not trusted properly , Hence I ensured its trusted and then the same is imported in trusted authority in the Web server.

    So now I am facing the next level issue and below is what it is.
    After entering the CIC Server name , I get to authenticate based on Windows or Interaction Center Authentication.
    In both ways I am unable to do so.
    I checked that the Single Sign on subsystem is running and even the single sign on certificate is trusted as well added in the web server.

    It looks like its giving 404 not found error and this particular file is missing from directory.
    /client/genesys-webcomponents/i18n/genesys-webcomponents.i18n.en-US.json - 443

    I disabled the Single-Sign On authentication from IA - Server Configuration.
    I am able to successfully login now.
