Blocking incoming calls

    Hello Everyone,

    Is there a way to block some selective incoming calls to the system?

    Please suggest.

    Hi Ranjith Rajan,

    I can suggest a very simple solution for this, you can create a new IVR profile and add all the numbers which you want to block as ANI numbers to profile and disconnect them.

    Apart from that, you can add a table in the database with these numbers and filter them in IVR.

    above are simple solutions. You can use handlers as well if you need any other actions.

    I recommend you attend the Interaction Center Handler Developer (ICHD) training. The functionality you desire can best be achieved by using a customization point called CustomAnswer.

    The Attendant Profile approach won't stop DID/DNIS calls.
