You can set permissions to who (what roles, users, etc) can access what specific recordings based on the tags assigned to the recordings. So if you can identify the recordings either at the time of initiating the recording or at the time of processing your retention policies as being associated with one company or another and then tag them appropriately, you can achieve what you're asking for.
