Hi Thomas,
I am sure you have already checked this, but many times USB Headset will show up as its own indepent volume in the volume Mixer. I would have the agent right click the Speak Icon by the clock (Bottom Right) and click on Volumn Mixer and see if you see a setting for the headset.

I've got an agent that is experiencing faint audio in her USB headset but everything else plays thru the headset with a normal volume. It's been a bit since my helpdesk days so I'm not really any help to the agent.
Anyone have any ideas?
