    Hi Team

    Is the system compatible with SQL 2016 SP2 or SQL 2016 SP1?
    Or the system compatible with any version from SQL 2016 regardless SP?

    This is a questen only Genesys itself can answer. In normal circumstances I would look at http://testlab.genesys.com to check this. 
    But if you have a dedicated problem or are working in an High Availability environment it's best to open a case and ask for it.

    Depending on the version you have, however from 2018 R1 & later SQL 2016 is supported.
    In regards to service packs: I recommend installing the latest SP (currently SP2) and I have not run into any issues.
