disable voicemail during business hours

    Hello,

    Just reaching out for thoughts on this request.

    Client X wants us not to be able to take voicemail during business hours, but to be able to take voicemails after business hours.

    I don't want to get into specifics of why or trying to convince them otherwise, just curious how to accomplish this with the least amount of brain damage possible heh.

    Is this for all users, or select users, or Workgroups, or....?

    This would be one inbound workgroup only.  My thoughts are disable the ivr option for vmail and edit the greeting that says what button to press to leave one.

    That's much easier than trying to enable / disable user Voicemail!

    My recommendation would be to use Attendant Schedules and simply offer or don't offer he VM option to the caller based on the time of day. You can have two different greetings, depending on the Schedule.
