I have played around for years on the dial plan and have some ideas on what is good to do, what to take out and what to add, but what do you think? What suggestions can you professionals make to help create the Ultimate Dial Plan? Consider things like:
1. Inbound number formatting for 1 (555) 555-1212 instead of 5555551212@m1K.inin.com
2. Inbound caller ID pass through
3. Outbound formatting for carriers
4. To specifically assign dial groups or not?
5. Getting that dang 7-digit dialing to work without counting on Z
6. Whitepage lookup tie in's.
