    Dear Latitude Clients,

This is a Reg-F update on 3 key areas:

    1.  The newest patches, scripts and installation instructions should be available for download by noon on Friday.
    2.  The most recent list of known issues and fix release plans have been uploaded to the SFTP site.
    3. We have uploaded the 2 SQL Update scripts related to the Validation Notice Period for existing Latitude letter requests.  Please see the details and steps below for these scripts to deploy and test.  We will be updating the install documents on the SFTP site with this information as well.

Step to Update Validation Notice Data for existing Data

To review existing DUN type letters requested in Latitude prior to deploying the Reg F patch and evaluate/update them for the Validation Notice period and completion there are SQL Scripts that need to be run against your database.  Please review the options below and apply based on your business requirements.

**If you do not want to update the Validation Notice Data for existing DUN type letters requested prior to deploying the Reg F Patch you do not need to run any of these updates.

     SQL Script "PUS_ValidationNotice_Common.sql":  Most restrictive

This update will set the validation period completed for the debtor if they had a DUN type letter sent more than 35 days ago from this script run date,  unless there is currently a mail return on the debtor.

For accounts with a DUN type letter sent within the last 35 days that do not currently have a mail return on the debtor, the validation notice data and period calculation will be set.

SQL Script "PUS_ValidationNotice_MR_LastLetterDUN.sql" :  Least restrictive ** IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS LOGIC, YOU MUST RUN THE ABOVE SQL SCRIPT FIRST "PUS_ValidationNotice_Common.sql", THEN RUN THIS SQL SCRIPT SECOND

This update will set the validation period completed for the debtor if they had a DUN type letter sent more than 35 days ago from this script date,  and if there is currently a mail return on the debtor BUT the last letter sent was not the "DUN" type letter.  This assumes the mail return is associated with a letter sent after the DUN type letter.

     Thank you,

     Jeff
