    Hi Raj,

I'd love to contribute one example, and I'll also be following this thread to learn from everyone else's experiences.

Here is one from my recent Genesys Cloud experience.

    Issue Description

I created a workflow triggered by the Speech and Text Analytics Topics Detected event. While looping through participants to find the first available queueId, the loop appeared to process only the first two items.

    Symptoms

During testing, I received debugging notifications for indexes 0 and 1, even though the collection contained additional participants and the Next Loop action was present.

    Impact

The workflow did not consistently reach the participant containing the required queueId, affecting the subsequent queue and topic-processing logic.

    Investigation Performed

I temporarily added Send Notification actions inside the loop to identify which indexes and paths were being processed.

During the Community discussion, I learned that Send Notification has a limit of three successful invocations per workflow execution. However, I did not receive an ActionInvocationLimitExceeded error, and further testing showed that this was not the root cause of my issue.

    Root Cause

The actual issue was how I had configured the loop logic and conditions. Some paths were not progressing through the collection as intended.

    Solution Applied

I corrected the workflow so that it:

    • Checks whether the current participant contains a queueId.
    • Stores the first available queueId and exits the loop.
    • Uses Next Loop when no queueId is present.
    • Ensures each decision path reaches either Next Loop or Exit Loop.
    • Sends one consolidated notification after the required processing.

    Workaround

There was no separate workaround. The loop logic needed to be corrected.

    Lessons Learned

Ensure every path inside a loop reaches either Next Loop or Exit Loop. Send Notification actions can be useful for testing, but the limit of three successful invocations per workflow execution must be considered.

I also learned that a topic filter on the trigger controls whether the workflow fires, but the payload can still contain the complete detected-topics collection. Therefore, the required topics may also need to be filtered within the workflow.

    Hi @Phaneendra Avatapalli,

Thanks for Sharing your experience with the community and I firm believe that this will definitely help our community member while creating workflow, which help them to consider each and every aspect of logic.

Thanks again for sharing as each step contribute a lot in achieving destination.

Great initiative, Raj! I love the framing - every problem we solve teaches us something, and sharing that knowledge accelerates learning for the whole community.

I'm in. I've got a few scenarios I can write up across architecture, routing logic, and API integrations that hit some interesting edge cases we've debugged with clients. Will start with a Genesys Predictive Engagement config that looked straightforward on paper but required some digging into journey attributes and segment behavior to get right.

For anyone reading: don't be intimidated by the template - the format is just scaffolding. What matters is the cause and the fix. That's where the learning lives.

Looking forward to seeing what the team shares. This kind of thread builds real institutional knowledge faster than any documentation ever could. Thanks for setting it up.

[Will contribute post within the week]

    Hi @Raj sahu,

    # Issue Description
Agents could receive inbound calls in Genesys Cloud, but during outbound calls, neither the agent nor the customer could hear audio.

    # Symptoms

    • Inbound calls worked normally.
    • Outbound calls connected successfully.
    • No audio in one or both directions during outbound calls.

    # Impact
Agents were unable to make effective outbound calls, impacting customer communication.

    # Investigation Performed
Reviewed Genesys Cloud telephony logs, tested multiple users and locations, and analysed network paths with the customer's security team.

    # Root Cause
Required Genesys Cloud media IP ranges were not allowed through Zscaler, causing RTP media traffic for outbound calls to be blocked.

    # Solution Applied
Updated the Zscaler policy to allow the required Genesys Cloud IP ranges and ports.

    # Lessons Learned
If call signalling works but audio doesn't, always investigate the media path. Network and security policies can affect inbound and outbound traffic differently.

Sometimes the issue isn't in Genesys Cloud at all, it's somewhere between the agent and the cloud.

    Hi @Akhil Akhil,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the family. You are correct not all the time Genesys cloud has issue other things are also there which impact Product functionality.

    Hello Raj

We recently uncovered a long-standing issue that might be of interest to any users who are utilizing Priority in their call flows.

    # Issue Description

Our keen-eyed staff were noticing a small percent of calls (~3%) meant to be tagged as priority were being by-passed in queue.

    # Symptoms
Calls that were meant to be answered ahead of most other calls were essentially "stuck" in the queue and never answered. The only means of answering the stuck call would be to isolate the queue, drain it until that stuck call remained and it would finally be sent to an agent.
    # Impact
Our priority calls are tagged such as they are felt to be higher-risk health issues and therefore designed to be answered before non-priority calls. having these calls stuck in queue and only noticed when their wait time becomes high puts the caller at higher risk.
    # Investigation Performed
Significant effort went into tracking down the issue from many angles, from call source, agent pool, transfer type, end points, plus much more work on the back-end i'm not smart enough to understand.
    # Root Cause
It was eventually discovered these "stuck" calls failed to have any Priority value set (not even the defualt 1) upon transfer between our services. According to Genesys, the system needed more time to apply a Priority value to an interaction before it hits the queue. They suggested we put in a 2 second delay to priority transfers to give the system enough time to apply the value. This is a little baffling to me as 2 seconds in computer time is akin to infinity, but again, I am not a smart man (i.e. # Investigation Performed above)
    # Solution Applied/ # Workaround
After working with Genesys, the "solution" was to insert a 2 second blank audio file at the beginning of all transfers for priority calls to allow. This allowed the system enough time to apply the priority to these calls. We have had no instances of stuck calls since.
    # Lessons Learned
Computers are slower than they are hyped up to be....
    Thanks
