  • 1.  Architect Flow - Call Audio Connector for Ultravox

    We are trying to use the Call Audio Connector available in the Voice Flow to stream audio from agent and caller to the ultravox.

    Has anyone successfully integrated and used Ultravox in the Call Audio Connector? If so we have some clarifications:

    Questions:

    1. How do we establish the connection after sending WebSocket connection request to server? the gGnesys connection is getting disconnected after 5 seconds on our test and is going to failure route.

    Error Type: NoResourceError
    Error Message: There was a problem communicating with the AudioConnector Bot. This is typically caused by it being incorrectly installed or configured. Check the installation and configuration of your AudioConnector Bot, and if the problem persists please contact Genesys customer support.

    2. How to pass output variables from server and when it will be used?

    3. Can we connect multiple people via the same Connector ID in genesys?

    Hello Jerold, 

    Are you using web service data action integration to make the call to the outside server? 

    Is the outside server sending over a request in the 5 second time frame (5 second timeout is expected behavior)?

    Have you followed this RC document?

    Hi Cameron,

    Thanks for responding on this topic.

    1. Are you using web service data action integration to make the call to the outside server?

    -> We are using the AudioConnector via calling the Call Audio Connection from the Architect Flow once the inbound caller goes to that route.

    2. Is the outside server sending over a request in the 5 second time frame (5 second timeout is expected behavior)?

    -> Is it actually going to send a request or Genesys is the one to throw the request once the action runs?

    3. Have you followed this RC document?

    -> We did follow the RC Document, created an integration for Audio Connector with ConnectionURI and Credentials with Status=Active after validation.

    Call Audio Connector have the Connector ID set as well.

    We were actually asked by the 3rd party with the questions below:

    1) Audio format sent and accepted by Genesys, also which encoding and decoding format is used.

    2) Response format accepted by genesys.

    3) Is there any inital handshake for websocket connection?

    Have you verified Ultravox follow Genesys Cloud protocol defined for AudioConnector/AudioHook?

    Check this with info with Ultravox Session Walkthrough
