  • 1.  Aw Snap error

    We're seeing users get this error message when they try and do a Content search. The moment they clock on Word or Phrase.

    Anyone else experiencing this? Not all users, but a lot...

     Hey Paul,

     

    I would recommend raising case with care to investigate this issue further.  To help them investigate the issue I would include Network and Console logs captured when loading the view.

    Logs provided but no solution yet. Its very odd.. tried Edge, Chrome, incognito, clear cache.. etc.. different logins in GC on same PC get same error..

    @Samuel Jillard we can create tickets if necessary, but I am seeing this issue across several organizations today in both US East and US West.  The issue remains in Google Chrome (even with cache cleared) but not in Microsoft Edge.  

    This issue happens anywhere we have to type and select an option; most common issues being seen here: 

    1) Dashboards

    2) Alert Rules

    3) Content Search View

    Please assist if there is a known solution.

    I have one member of our management team getting this error even though she has some roles as other team members. It seems to be any time picklist loads, so most noticeable in content search but can occur other places in UI.


    If you open a support ticket and need corroboration, feel free to reach out. However, we are in USE2 (FedRAMP); unless you are also FedRAMP, the support teams are in different environments.

    Hi, We have found something interesting with this. On the agents affected they had over 20 Chrome tasks running in Task Manager. Usual for us seems to be 12. Even rebooting did not resolve this.. But killing the tasks manually and then restarting had a positive impact. They also had many Performance views open which we closed. This stopped the Aw Snap issue for them It is likely to come back, but for now seems OK..
