@Steven Alix - "Public" mode for the dashboards is the current functionality, which requires CX licensing and the view permission for the dashboards. In the above post, I highlighted all the available options to clarify that this feature adds to the existing capabilities without affecting the current functionality.

Hi Nikhil,

My company is interested in joining this beta, but before I register us my leadership team is looking for reassurance regarding a low to zero impact on the phone system aspect. (Will it affect the functionality and interrupt our Agents day to day?)

Could you confirm if this would impact the phones/digital interactions/agent side of things?

 I was thinking No, it wouldn't (unless we share dashboards with them) but I would like to bring them back an answer from Genesys. Thank you for your help!

Thanks for providing this opportunity to participate in this beta. I find this feature not completely solving out problems, but already providing great experience. 

The following points could improve our experience even more:

1. ability to see which dashboards in the list are private, public or shared (seconding the comment from Michael Bell) - third icon needs to be found for shared. Why is it important - even as a dashboard consumer I want to know if I share url to this dashboard with someone, do I risk sending them something they don't have access to. We have 13 000 users as dashboard consumers (I know it's not high volume), but also we have around 400 users with dashboards edit rights. 

2. ability to see, who the dashboard is shared with, for user as a dashboard publisher and consumer. This will nurture the collaboration and help to know who I can connect regarding, what I see in the dashboard. There is already a great example of the design in one of the analytical components called entities, when you save a performance view.

3. Ability to share dashboards with groups. Right now work teams can be maintained only manually and in our case they are used only for agent groups. In our organisation the group creation is fully automated and is based on the user country and job title - this allows us to provide the correct level of permission to every user who needs access to Genesys Cloud. The main publishers and at the same time consumers of the dashboards in the market are staff-planning teams. They create dashboards for intraday management, for team leaders to follow up on the department results and for collaboration with business analysts. It would be an immense improvement if they could pick a group in the sharing option. Our naming convention for groups is the following: XX_Job_Title

Hi, Nikhil! Sorry for long time to reply. It can be from 3 to 60 depending on the size of the market, with an average of 20. That is just for the team leaders/supervisors. Plus from 2 to 10 for other roles.

Once selected to share with a certain work teams, will any new person added to a work team get access to the dashboard automatically?

Is there any intentions to bring back the visual indicator to highlight which dashboards are public / private or shared? The one thing I liked about the eye icon where you could make dashboard private / public was being able to see at a glance which ones were private. 

I know you can use the drop-down box to see them but I did like seeing them the differences on the same screen. I'll easily be able to adapt if there is plans to add an extra column visual.

To confirm, are you referring to the dashboard summary UI for the visibility of dashboard's shared status? (as shown in the previous version of the page below). Are you also referring to the dashboard details UI i.e. the actual dashboard?

@suyog gupta - thanks for reaching out about this issue. We are looking into it but the expected behavior is that users with whom the dashboard is shared shouldn't be able to delete it. Can you please confirm whether or not the member who is able to delete the dashboard has the following permission? "Analytics>Dashboard Configurations>deleteActive"
