Hello Hassan,
Currently, if an on-premises Edge loses connection with Genesys Cloud, they are still able to function using cached versions of some of the more basic functions, such as call routing to active agents and IVR flows. We recently made a deprecation announcement that says that after November 27, 2024, Genesys will no longer support the BYOC Premises Edge Remote Survivability feature. You can read more about this announcement using the following link:

If you are concerned with remote survivability, you can migrate your premises-based solution to a 100% cloud-based solution or you can combine your existing premises-based solution with one of the Genesys cloud-based solutions via the hybrid media feature. For more information, see About hybrid media.

Subject: BYOC premise Edge - Offline
Hello All,
Using an on-premise Edge device connected to an on-premise SBC. The site is expected to lose internet connectivity. Would the edge still provide any telephony services? Like IVR, voice bots etc?
Thanks,
Hassan
