We have BYOC Premises Edges placed at Core-Site (HQ) which are connected with Local PSTN GateWays of HQ as well as Different branch (BR1, BR2...) sites too.
The call to Brach site (BR1) telephony user/ agent is sent to Edges by the respective local PSTN GW of BR1, it is connected successfully. However when the Branch site agent is transferring that inbound PSTN call to another external PSTN number (ex: his mobile), instead of sending the call back to Branch site PSTN GW that is configured in the site config of BR1, the call is transferred via the trunks which are assigned in the HQ site, The requirement is to route the call back to the trunks that received the call via Branch Site/its Trunks. How do we modify this routing behaviour?
PS: It's pure telephony setup as of now. no queues or architect call flows are involved.
One little-known fact that if you use External Number transfer in Architect, it will ALWAYS use the default site for the transfer, so no matter where the call came or where it is going, it will use the dial plan in that default site.
