  • 1.  Copy messaging interaction transcript

    Hi Everyone, 

    After disconnecting a messaging interaction, our agents manually copy and paste the interaction transcript into the CRM. Instead of using the Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C keyboard shortcuts to copy the transcript, is there an option for a 'Copy to Clipboard' icon or a similar feature to make this process more efficient for the agents?

    The new Supervisor Insights will have the transcript in a tab in the Interaction Details for copy/paste after the fact.  There is also a Preview API that allows for that transcript to be copied out programmatically using a trigger and a workflow.

    Hello Karthik,

    They should be able to click the Copy Transcript option (Copy transcript) in the top right corner of the transcript. I've included a link to the Resource Center article that has more details below:

    Hi Jason, 

    Yes, i saw that but the agent have to navigate to Performance > Workspace > Interactions tab manually for each interaction and copy it to CRM. I am looking to see if the same option is available in the Agent interaction workspace, so agent can quickly copy and paste it in to CRM before the ACW times out.

    Hey Karthik,

    Thank you for the clarification. I don't believe that we have that functionality built into the platform currently. With that said, I did see that someone has recently submitted an Idea to the Genesys Cloud Product Ideas Lab. If you click the VOTE button on that page, it should notify you via email as this Idea progresses through development. I would also recommend that you leave a comment on the idea as well.
