Way back in February, we teased there would be an update to the Dashboard UI, and after beta testing with almost 50 customers I am pleased to tell you the release is a few weeks away! I am here to give you a peek at the release and let you know about an exclusive opportunity for community members to ask PMs your questions. Here's a brief video that our team has put together that help highlight some of the changes:

This release is hotly anticipated, so our Dev team wanted to make sure that there was better visibility, as well as easy access to your dashboard's data so that you can save time when making layout decisions. This will help users quickly assess critical business outcomes by using the dashboard to monitor real-time metrics enhanced by historical performance reporting.

You look different. Did you do something new with your dashboard?

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to share your favorite dashboard with your family and freinds? Well very soon, you will be able to, thanks to the power of the Share function! With this, you will be able to share dashboards with other groups or individuals, as well as make the new dashboard public or private.

If you're nervous about the new dashboard UI feature, don't worry! With this new release, the Dev team has included the option to preview your existing dashboard in the new layout. You can choose the option to "Go Back" to return to the old layout, or, if you like what you see, you can click "Stay Here" to stick with the new layout.

While this release will be pretty robust, the team has said that they still have work that they want to do after this initial release is launched, such as adding a dark theme toggle, a manual resizing option for tiles, as well as other layout enhancements for the future! Keep an eye out for updates on those enhancements!

Sounds great, yeah? Well the launch date for this is rapidly approaching, with the rollout scheduled for the end of September. While this feature won't be ready once the updates are launched, I've been told that the Dev team is working on getting rolling out this release in the next few weeks after the initial launch.

Do you still have questions? Well come and join us this Thursday (Sep 12th), for our next installment in our Ask Me Anything (AMA) series featuring special guests Maisey Harris and Nikhil Ponnam so you can learn more about the Dashboard UI updates!
