Hello Rechelle,
I am sorry to hear that. As far as I am aware. you should be able to remove certain file types from the Supported Content Profile to disallow those attachments from being sent.
You may want to double check if the Default Content Profile is being applied.
From https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/supported-content-profiles/ :
Genesys Cloud provides a default content profile that allows all inbound file types and .jpg, .png, and .gif for outbound file types. The default content profile applies if you do not assign a content profile to a messaging channel integration. In the default content profile:
- You can change the file types allowed in the default content profile provided by Genesys Cloud.
- You can set a different content profile as the default by clicking the star next to the content profile name. If you set a new content profile as the default, the new default applies only to new messaging channel integrations. The new default content profile does not relate to an existing messaging channel integration.

Subject: Disable Supported Content Profile from SMS and Webchat
Hi,
We are trying to disable Supported Content Profile because we are receiving inappropriate media attachments in our SMS/WhatsApp and Webmessages/chats.
Is there a way to do it?
One of our Engineer created a Supported Content Profile removing all the media types, and configured in the Messenger Deployment and Messaging Platform config but customers are still able to send attachments.
Thank you so much for anyone who will respond.
