Evaluation Assistance and Questions Pre-filled as N/A

    Hi Everyone! We are trying the evaluation assistance feature in our evaluations forms. It is working great except other questions in the form (evaluation assistance is off) are getting "N/A" as a pre-filled answer.  Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions how to fix it aside from completely removing evaluation assistance in the form? Thank you in advance for your help!

    Debbie, open a ticket on this through your partner (yes, I know who that is!).  I saw that early on with the beta, but it should have been fixed.  I saw it on any questions that had N/A answers.  Straight questions of yes/know or list did not seem to do that.

    Hi Herrick,

    Thank you for your message! No, that box is not checked off. I removed evaluation assistance in the form so none of the questions pre-fill to N/A anymore.

    Our partner has opened a ticket and I shared with them it so happened that the questions getting pre-filled N/A were displayed conditionally. Any thoughts on possible connection?

    @Herrick Mai, if an organization does opt to utilize a "default answer to..." option, which takes precedence: evaluation assistance or default answer? 

    For example, if they have it set to default the answer to the highest scoring and they have evaluation assistance on a question, will with evaluation assistance override the highest scoring where necessary?

    To elaborate a bit further:

    If the form is setup with default answering configurations for both : highest scoring & NA , along with assisted answer configuration. Then the precedence sequence is as follows:

    1. Assisted answer
    2. NA default answer
    3. Highest score default answer

    Good day, 

    This issue is occurring with a form that has evaluation assistance. I am removing but was wondering if cause or a fix was determined...

    I have confirmed that both highest scoring and N/A are unchecked in the default to for each group in the form. 

    Answers Default To

    You can set default answers for the convenience of the respondent: If "Highest Scoring" is checked, questions in this group default to their highest scoring answer. The respondent can select lower scoring answers as needed. If "N/A" is checked, then questions in this group are considered "not applicable.' The evaluator can uncheck the N/A box to override this behavior. Choose this option if a group of questions is rarely applicable.both hi
