  • 1.  GC app .Net failures after new Dashboard functionality release

    Since the release of then new Dashboard UI last week we have had agents constantly being returned to login screen.(Using GC app) We can see .Net crashes. We believe the issue is that agents have a complex dashboard open. By simplifying the dashboard the issue seems to have gone away. Anyone noticed any similar issues?

    Hello Danny, 

    This sounds like a problem within the UI itself. I would recommend opening a Customer Care ticket with console and network logs of the behavior they will need to see whats going on under the hood. More so than we can do here in a public forum.

    Unfortunately when .net crashes you lose the logs. I was getting no traction on my case but one of the team raised another case and this person said.
     
    "Thank you for opening a case with us. My name is Steven, I'm with the Analytics & WFM team and I will be working with you on this case going forward.
     
    I understand you are seeing issues where dashboards are causing the Genesys Cloud Desktop Application to crash. This is likely related to dashboards where charts are in use, as we are currently seeing issues where time-based charts are sometimes infinitely scrolling, which is causing crashing."
     
    So maybe getting somewhere now.

    Hello Danny, 

    Thats awesome! Yeah customer care is the way to go for an issue like this. Unfortunatly it requires looking at things under the hood that we just cant do here in the public forums. 

    Can you provide me the case number so I can track it?
