Hello all,
I was provisioning a new site today and was having trouble placing an outbound call with a webRTC phone after setting up my location, site and phones. I am using a GCV trunk. I was clicking around trying to troubleshoot and noticed that the Edge Group is labled
Genesys Cloud Hybrid Media Group. I looked at an old org and the edge group name is
PureCloud Voice - AWS.With that being said, it looks like one step that is required to utilize the webRTC phones with a Genesys Cloud Hybrid Media Group Edge Group is to associate the Phone Trunks (Default SIP Phone Connection and Default WebRTC Phone Connection) to the Edge Group, like so:
I also noticed there are 2 other phone trunk connections labled "Genesys Cloud - CDM <xx>". Does anyone have any insight on what these two CDM phone trunks are for?
Anyone else noticed this?
