I'd love to hear how you're using CX as Code in your Genesys Cloud environment.

Are you using Terraform? What are you finding most useful so far?

We're using it to manage the promotion of resources (mainly flows/bots) across our environments, using GitHub Actions & Terraform. What's particularly nice is that we also run a suite of automated tests against each of the bots when they are deployed, so we can catch regressions.

We were using Terraform as the source of truth for the Genesys Cloud configuration. So that we can allow platform resources to be managed consistently and not manually via the UI.
We also use Genesys Cloud CLI for operational tasks and Archy for managing and deploying Architect flows outside of the Genesys Cloud Architect UI.

The majority of our Genesys resources are managed and deployed using CX as Code. We have 4 Orgs and all resources are deployed from the lowest environment (Dev) through to the top (Prod) using CX as Code. 

It gives you great flexibility and the ability to deploy changes on mass or create a large number of resources with a few lines of code is invaluable. 

One downside is that new features are generally released months after their initial release in the UI.

As mentioned above, the CLI and Archy are also powerful companions for CX as Code.

We use Terraform to export and import configurations from one environment to another.
Even though it requires some review and rewriting-especially when dealing with environments across different regions-it provides a major benefit.
From the client's perspective, the UI feels reassuring, while CX-as-code can be intimidating and seen as overly complex, even though it actually streamlines and secures changes.
