  • 1.  How to monitor call events when a call is made from SIP

    Hi ,

    I'm trying to monitor the CTI events when a call is made.

    I connected to Tserver and I received connection (EventLinkConnected) Event message into my application.

    However, when a call is made from SIP. No call related events are flowing into my application. Kindly guide me.

    Note: I also connected to confServer and I used Subscriber,notificationQuery by using PSDK still no CTI events are captured

    Hi

    You will need to register the address of the DN's that you want to monitor (allow sharing) to receive T-Server events from the SIP server.

    Thanks for the input. I would like to know in case I have n number of DN. I need to monitor calls of those DN.

    I understand that registering DN is needed. Is there any other dynamic way to get all registered DNs details so that I can register those DNs in my application.

    Hi

    You need to ask the ConfigServer for a list of the DN's that you want to monitor.

    The DN's are associated with the T-Server you use (SIP server) in the Genesys Engage configuration environment.

    Thanks, I tried with RequestObject requesting for DN details providing CfgDN. Able to get all DN details.

    I would like to know difference between CFGDN which has ordinal as 2 and CFGDNGROUP (ordinal as 17) which is present in CfgObjectType of PSDK. 

    And also, I'm trying to fetch CTI events details in my Applicaiton by connecting to Tserver and registering my DN. Unfortunately, I'm not receiving events when Agent attends the call like CALL ANSWERED/EVENT ANSWERED.

    Kindly guide me on the same
