  • 1.  Is it just me, or does using Genesys Cloud in your native language actually feel... weird?

Ever since I started working with the platform, I've gotten so used to the English UI that Spanish terminology now feels completely foreign to me.

It doesn't stop at the interface either. When troubleshooting, my workflow is a constant loop between official docs, release notes, Google searches, and community forums - almost always in English.

And let's be honest: official documentation tells you how something should work. Community threads tell you how it actually works when reality hits you with a "not so fast."

For those whose native language isn't English:

    • Do you keep Genesys Cloud in English even when your language is available?

    • Do you default to searching for solutions in English?

    • Has a random Community thread ever saved your day when official docs fell short?

Curious to hear how you all bridge the gap between "English Genesys" and "Real-World Genesys"!

    Gracias y feliz día!!

I can definitely relate. I keep Genesys Cloud in English because most documentation, release notes, error messages, and Community discussions use the English terminology. It also makes troubleshooting and sharing findings with colleagues much easier.

My usual process is to start with the official documentation to understand the expected behavior, then check the Community for real cases, limitations, and workarounds. More than once, an old Community thread has provided the missing detail that helped me solve an issue.

For me, bridging the gap means working mainly in English while explaining or documenting the solution in Spanish for the teams that need it. That way, the technical terms remain consistent without making the information less accessible.

When I started working with Genesys, I used it in English because of the certifications, since there wasn't an option to take the exams in my native language.

Nowadays, I still use it in English out of habit, and also because of the documentation, as it makes searching for information easier in English.

The Genesys interface and the documentation are also translated differently, which can make things a bit confusing for people who aren't as familiar with the platform.

    Hi Camilo Andrés Vaca Hernández!

You are definitely not alone in this kkkkkkkkk.
English became the official language of troubleshooting, even if we translate it back in our heads when delivering solutions to local business users!

I've always found it strange to use Genesys Cloud in Portuguese. Most of the documentation I consult and the certification material I study use English terms, so learning the interface in Portuguese felt like learning a second set of names for the same things.

I eventually had to switch to Portuguese when working with clients, and it felt surprisingly unfamiliar at first. I still find myself translating the terms back into English when I need to look something up!

After some tries in French, I switch back to english
Not because the translation were wrong, but there is some features where english is most than useful
    - The search bar, I had to find the good translation of main features to find them. It would be very nice if english word were accessible even in other languages
    - permissions, same issue when browsing into permission, it is easier to filter them using englih words
    - Architect, English coding faster
