  • 1.  Is there any way to modify the schedule export csv?

    Hello everyone,

I am doing the schedule export as advised in this article: Export schedule information - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

This works, but the problem is that the report for the agent shifts is difficult to post process. The dates and times are in US standard and for example agent names have weekday attached to it before the first comma.

    Any advice on this?

Hi Pasi, I don't have any advice but solidarity in that the export is unusable. I'm sure an Excel wiz could make it make sense, but the CVS file is no good to me. We do not provide any kind of read out to our Ops teams on schedules, so we don't need it. Everyone just uses what is in Genesys.

    Hi Pasi,

I'm in the same boat as both yourself and Shannon, the formatting is less than ideal. I usually end up having to use excel text to columns amongst others to make the data easier to work with, such a hassle!

I was hoping the recent update to allow multiple time formats would be a fix for the issue, but unfortunately not.

    Hi All,

there is currently no way to edit the Schedule View exports before exporting the data.

Many customers use Excel templates or Macros to help restructure/format the data. The current alternative would be to use the scheduling APIs to pull down the required data. Genesys Professional Services may have some custom solutions to help with this or be able to create a custom solution for your needs.

I'd also encourage you to check out the Ideas Lab for other reporting requests, adding your comments, use cases and votes or create new reporting ideas to help with your challenges. Will help us prioritise future enhancements and new reports.

Thank you all for the answers! Doing some Excel or Python magic to the file is certainly one of the options, but it'd be nice if starting point was bit more standard (from Finnish perspective at least!). I will certainly check the API route as well.

    Best regards,
