Since American Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and having a wonderful meal, I decided I would like to provide you with a light dessert that includes my favorite features from November. Even though we had one week where our Dev Team had a holiday feature freeze, it didn't stop them from providing some sizzling hot releases last month. Get your appetites ready, because it's time to dig into my favorite features from November!
Never Miss An Important Meeting Again
In Genesys Cloud, there is no ambiguity determining what date someone is referring to when you see something like 1-1-2024, or 12-12-2024, but what happens when the month and day are not the exact same? With the Enhanced date format display for workforce management agents release from last month, the date and time format will now match the user's local preference. This will significantly cut down the confusion for people globally when they say the meeting is on 4/9.
Now if I could only get more people to adopt the YYYY-MM-DD format...
(More than) 20,000 Leads Under the CSV
Are you tired of constantly flipping through your Rolodex, trying to find the right info for the person you need to call? If only there was a better way to digitize your entire list of contacts to make sure they are easy to find. Let me introduce you to the new Enhanced bulk import for external contacts. With this new feature, you can seamlessly import up to 50,000 contacts at once! Still not sold? When you import your list of contacts, our system will match the new contact info based on phone numbers, email addresses, etc., with any prior contacts and will provide a couple of options for merging or updating the contact's data.

😎 More UI improvements for U and I😎
In my last monthly release recap, I highlighted the newest UI improvements for Multi-panel Experience that we had rolled out. For my November recap, I'd like to shine a spotlight on some more UI improvements: Improved agent messaging interface. In order to help prepare for the new UI experience, our Dev team has made some changes to the messaging UI that provides a cleaner and more intuitive layout to help agents handle conversations more efficiently. Some of the key features include message grouping, a dedicated Send button, as well as a character count to let you know if you're sending an overly wordy response.

I know that in my last post, I talked about the CIDR expansion being pushed back to this week. If you haven't seen it yet, we have postponed the CIDR expansion again until next year. The change over is now set to take effect on February 2nd. If you have not done so, I would highly recommend that you read this article to learn more.
