Augustin,
The resource center link has the details about moving MU's, workplans, rotations etc.: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/move-a-management-unit/
Tips and Tricks in the form of an FAQ: https://help.mypurecloud.com/faqs/what-happens-to-an-agents-schedule-and-history-if-they-move-business-units/
Forecasts are now handled in the new BU so the forecasts will be new, and based on the Planning Groups that you rebuild in the new business unit. When the planning group route paths are built with the same Queue/Skill/Language combinations your forecasts are based on the same data as the previous business unit.
Thanks,

Subject: Moving a Management Unit and its agents to a new Business Unit with a different "Start Day of Week"
Hi,
Our organisation has a payroll integration that runs fortnightly which picks shifts from Genesys and sends to the payroll software. Due to some organisational changes, the pay period is going to change from Sun-Sat to Mon-Sun.
In Genesys we can't change the "Start Day of Week" for a business unit. The only option is to create a new business unit with Mon as the "start day of week".
We must align the Genesys schedules to the payroll dates to avoid overtime, topup payments and also to retain shift trades within the pay period.
Questions:
- Can the management units be moved from the current BU to the new BU even though the start day of the week is different?
- Will the work plans and rotations adjust automatically based on the new BU's start day of week or should we reconfigure all work plans and rotations?
- How to get the historical forecasts transferred to the new BU?
- Any tips and tricks or lessons learnt if anyone has come across this in the past?
