The first weekend of the NCAA has ended and, while there were definitely some upsets, all four number one seeds in the Men's bracket have advanced. For the first time in March Madness history, one conference is responsible for seven members of the Sweet 16, making the SEC conference a force to be reckoned with. 

As for the women's teams...two number one seeds (South Carolina and UCLA advance) and Kansas State tore up some brackets with their upset win over Kentucky. 

So who leads the Genesys Community brackets with all these plot twists and turns?

Men's Bracket:

Currently, "avbdubz" sits in first with 53 points, congratulations!  Next up is "buckguy" with 51 points and "tim7272" in 3rd. 

Women's Bracket:

Right now we have a three-way tie for first place! "AlexP," "Bballislife," and "GregPittma" hold the top position with 43 points. There's also a four-way tie for second! I'll let you check the brackets for that list. 

Just remember: the Sweet 16 is coming up and none of these placeholders are sacred. Anyone can move up or down the brackets. Hope you're all having fun watching - I know I have even though my team was out after the first round (sadness for the Tar Heels), but onward and upward!
