    Hi Community,

State University Retirement System is a mid-size pension/retirement fund which tends to have 10-15 active calls, 50-60 staff on Communicate or CX2 licenses simultaneously (just for phone features), and an 8AM-4:30PM CT call window.  We're currently "Bring Your Own Carrier" setup with 2 on-premise edge devices.  We're looking at moving to Hybrid, in preparation to move to "Bring Your Own Carrier" with Genesys Cloud Voice or entirely Genesys-based Genesys PureCloud Voice.

Our CTO is looking to have references from similar organizations that have made this transition, purely for the discussion of experience and reliability. There would be absolutely no discussion of pricing.  If it's not easy to get references for this type of situation, we'd be interested in a reference contact/discussion with any organization that is on PureCloud Voice.

The biggest concern appears to be reliability of Genesys as a carrier "broker" (we understand that they use multiple carriers). Please message me; providing contact information appears to get posts and comments moderated out per the ToS.

    Thanks,

    #ConnectwithaCustomer(NEW)

Hey, I could likely help out - I'm based in Sydney, so would likely just ask for some times that suit me better than the dark of night!

We BYOC on Genesys Cloud Voice. We use CX3, but I will be able to answer the questions you guys would be looking for.

Thanks! I sent you a connection request, hopefully we can work something out while we have a 16 hour difference, before you have a 17 hour difference on April 6 😅.

Why did you choose to stick with CX3?  (Of course, feel free to tell me directly).  Also, do you know of anyone who might be interested in talking that went fully Genesys Purecloud, with Genesys having the DID registrations etc? We (especially our CTO) would really appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Oesten

If there is anyone additional that can help with a reference (especially a Genesys Cloud Voice user) we would be extremely appreciative; Sydney to Chicago communications are a little tricky 😅

    Hey Oesten,

I know that Lawrence is a huge help in the Community (they're a Community Rockstar after all) so I'm sad to hear that you all weren't able to connect to discuss. It is a bit difficult to coordinate a good time for both parties when you all are on the opposite side of the world. Let me see if I can get you in touch with someone else closer to the Central Time Zone.
