    Email Integration for Custom Domains

    This course introduces custom email integration in Genesys Cloud and how it supports end-to-end email handling. You'll explore the available integration approaches and then focus on a mailbox-based custom domain setup. This course covers the following objectives:

    • Explain the value of custom email integration for email handling in Genesys Cloud.

    • Outline the different email integration methods supported in Genesys Cloud.

    • Identify the steps to configure a custom email integration in Genesys Cloud.

    • Describe how email interactions are sent and received using configured email settings.

    Thanks for sharing this new training opportunity. Email remains a critical customer engagement channel, so it's great to see additional education focused on custom domain integrations in Genesys Cloud.

    In my experience, having a custom email domain helps create a more seamless and professional customer experience while allowing organizations to maintain brand consistency across communication channels. Understanding the configuration steps, email routing, and interaction flow is especially valuable for administrators and architects responsible for customer engagement solutions.

    One area I'd be interested in seeing future training cover is email channel best practices, including:

    • Troubleshooting common email integration issues
    • Email routing and queue optimization strategies
    • Deliverability, SPF/DKIM/DMARC considerations
    • Reporting and analytics for email interactions
    • Omnichannel customer journey scenarios involving email, chat, and voice

    Thanks for sharing Hassan, We've used custom email domains with several customers. I'd love to see more content on troubleshooting mail flow issues and email authentication.
