  • 1.  OKTA SCIM into field sync with Genesys Cloud

    Posted 09-27-2023 18:16

    Hello,

In OKTA SCIM attribute under (primaryPhone) use our AD (Telephone number)

There a way to change the input field to the "ext" field instead of "Work Phone"

    Thanks,

You can use the Other Phone field to map the extension without using the e.164 format.  See this resource under Extensions:  Configure Azure Active Directory for Genesys Cloud SCIM (Identity Management) - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

Yes, works similar with Okta.  Configure Okta for Genesys Cloud SCIM (Identity Management) - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

One thing with Okta, if you are deleting or adding users, make sure you add the user before assigning group and make sure you remove group membership before deleting user.

    Robert,

Looks like only "ScimPhoneNumberType"  Allowable values are: work, work2, work3, work4, home, mobile, other, microsoftteams, zoomphone, eightbyeight

Doesn't look like it works the same as the azure method?
