  • 1.  Permissions Required for enabling "Content Search" functions for searching interactions?

    We have enabled Speech and Text Analytics and are able to view transcripts currently. We cannot however locate the required permissions to grant the "Content Search" functionality to search for and locate interactions with specific topics, words or phrases, sentiment scores or sentiment trends. What permissions are required to grant this ability?

    We believe we have already checked and provisioned these permissions as documented in this article but do not have the available option under the Performance tab in Genesys. Is there anything else we could be missing?

    We still are unable to activate "Content Search" for our organization. Are there any other options to try to get this function working?

    I know this thread is old and maybe you found the answer already, but if anybody is looking for the same thing and finds this question like I did....

    You enable content search by Clicking Admin --> Quality --> Speech and Text Analytics. There's a toggle labeled "Transcript Content Search" that needs to be on. (It's off by default.) Then the correct option will appear in Performance under Speech and Text.

    James, don't forget to pass on to the IT team that the team members will need the appropriate permissions to access the content search view once it is turned on: 

    To search for voice transcripts:

    • Genesys Cloud CX 3 Digital or Genesys Cloud EX license
    • Genesys Cloud CX 3, Genesys Cloud CX 1 WEM Add-on II, or Genesys Cloud CX 2 WEM Add-on I license
    • Routing > Transcription Settings > View permission
    • SpeechandTextAnalytics > Topic > View permission
    • SpeechandTextAnalytics > Data > View permission 
    • Voice transcription settings enabled
    • Transcript content search enabled

      At least one of the following permissions:

      • Analytics > Conversation Detail > View permission
      • Recording Recording > View or Recording > RecordingSegment > View permission
