Sounds like an oversight with the survey flows.
I couldn't find anything in the Ideas portal either, so unless they recognize it as a bug, you may need to submit an idea for it.

Hi Anton,
Thank you for that. A detail that I left out of my original post is that I did try that, however the Voice Survey flow is auto generated when the Voice Survey form is published and any questions that are configured in the form get created as read only slots in the flow resulting in those slots not showing up in the drop down list of the Clear Slot action

Regards.

Hi Sean,
Although I have not created a Survey Flow myself yet, it looks like it is the same as any other architect bot. You need to use the Clear Slot Action first, before asking the same question.

Slot filling in bots means if you already know the slot value you don't want to ask the customer for something you already know, so if slot value is set, don't ask. So if you want to re ask, clear the value.

I'm working on a Voice Survey flow and the design calls for prompting the caller to confirm their response and to reprompt them to enter a response if they confirm in the negative.
I have the Ask Survey Question in a loop, the caller responds to the question and the flow prompts them to see if what they entered is what they meant to enter (i.e. "You entered X, is that correct?"), and if they want to re-enter their response the flow loops back to the Ask Survey Question step. What I'm seeing is that Architect will only play the question prompt audio the first time the question is asked. No audio is played for that question any time after that. And that behavior is noted in Architect
Right now what I'm doing to reprompt the caller is to have a second question configured in the form to allow the caller to enter their response again. I was wondering if there is a better way to handle this scenario.
Thank you.
