    A milestone has been reached in the community that must be celebrated accordingly.

    First, I want to share a personal story. I remember when I was first onboarding in the role as Online Community Manger with Genesys, and there were certain people that I had to meet. @Robert Wakefield-Carl (RWC) was the first non-Genesys employee that came up.

    Since that day, I feel like Robert has been in my life every day. He is the teammate that I always knew I had even if he wasn't on the community's standup calls: from his prolific posts in our community, to reminding Nicole and I when there is a mistake on the Trivia Tower, Robert is our honorary teammate and he has left an indelible mark on me.

    For over a decade, I have been working in online communities, and Robert stands out as a unique, neon firebrand and one of the most passionate community members that I have ever seen.  

    When asked what his super power would be, he says "spreading cheer." When asked what his epithet would be, he says, "Answer Man." He radiates the community spirit that a manager like me loves to see charge the forums, and it comes as no surprise that the Answer Man got some major points on the engagement board. 

    In addition to the 5000 replies we are celebraint, he has also liked over 1k posts in the community, started 113 discussions, been awarded best answer 426 times, won trivia quite a few times, appeared in community videos, and was our first double-platinum Community Rock Star.

    As such, we had to get creative with how to celebrate the man of the hour, and here is what Robert gets for his awesome milestone.

    The 5000 Replies Prize Pack

    First, Robert has a mystery package in the mail. We were told it shipped earlier this week, but the contents are a secret that we hope Robert shares when it arrives.

    Second, we have always wanted to name a badge after Robert and we are doing just that. Moving forward, anyone who hits 5000 replies in the community will receive the RWC Badge:

    Third, of course we want to load Robert up with some Prize Wall prizes, but we want to take it a step further and let him pick the prize wall items that everyone gets to choose from during the month of December, and then he gets to pick five(5) prizes from the wall to take home for himself. Five for 5k? Seems fair.

    Fourth, Robert set a standard by being our first double-platinum community Rock Star and today, he is cementing another record as our first TRIPLE PLATINUM Community Rockstar.

    Is there more? I think so! Some of it will be announced later, and if I forgot anything, Nicole (or Robert) will probably remind me.

    Congratulations, Robert! We hope you enjoy the loot. It's our small way of saying that we cannot thank you enough.

    In closing, over the course of 5000+ community posts it is easy to get know Robert through Genesys, but I encourage all of you to get to know him outside of that. He has a great sense of humor, a passion for education, and a contagious fever for life. We can all learn more from him than we know.

    Join him in Genesys Casual or any Genesys Cloud community near you, and PLEASE join me in telling Robert congratulations! Say, "Hi!" "Thanks!" or share a story, because this is a monumental day that my team (including Robert) and I have been counting down to for a long time and we can't wait to see what milestone or record he smashes next.

    Thank you Matt and the entire Community team.  Having been part of this community from the beginning, it inspires me to see the number of members answering questions and the ingenuity that shown when providing those out-of-the-box thinking and of course all the great ideas that have come up from the ones that have no answer.  That 5K mark has been in might sights for years and like a marathon runner, it took determination and lots of time to achieve.  Keep the questions coming and maybe I'll shoot for that 10K.

    I've been away from the Genesys Community for a few months, but I wanted to leave a message regarding your achievement Robert.

    It has been a pleasure working with you whilst at my previous role with an end-customer and the amount of knowledge you bring to the table about the Genesys products is just out of this world.

    An amazing achievement @Robert Wakefield-Carl

    When I first joined the community team there was a lot of chat about Robert W-C and his prolific posting and support of the community and it took very little time to see it in action.  A new thread was created and I wasn't sure of the answer, so off I went to investigate and test. Before I had even started, Robert had come back with a "Best Answer" and helped me learn something new as he so often does.

    I concur with all the other sentiment here.  Robert was one of the guys that were a great help when I first started out in the community.  I personally like that he's always willing to offer advice without angling for anything other than to help.  

    We are merely padawan in his presence.

    Thank you for all of your contributions to the ongoing discussions here in the Community. I would like to echo everyone's sentiment so far and just say that I only wish that I could know half of the things that you may have already forgotten about Genesys Cloud over the years. Each time I see a post from you in the Community, I know that I'm going to get a quick lesson on some part of how Genesys Cloud functions.

    Thank you for everything that you've done and I can't wait to read more of your posts in the future!

    Just opened up my package from Matt and was delighted to see the special gift from the Community team.  I'll post this picture and let you all see if you can spot the special part of the gift.  Thanks to all of the Community for the questions that helped me to reach this personal goal.
