so your problem ist not the pulling through (because it works the same way for any variable) but how to use the ANI to match it with whatsoever to get the policy number? I had a similar solution with our ticket system. Not shure if the screenshots will be of any help, but maybe they will transport the idea, how to use the ANI in script to recieve the needed data from your CRM.
1. strip "tel:" away from ANI:

2. use my data Action to recieve data from my ticket system:

Part of the data action:

Just to be clear - The customer has an option to provide a claims number or a policy number which will be associated with the ANI. If the customer cannot enter the policy or claims reference number i still want the ANI to be able to recognise the policy or claims reference number and pull it through even though it was not entered.
Do you have any screen shots as to what needs to go where

Hi Richard,
in Architect there is a variable for the ANI: Call.Ani. Do your CRM-querey / data table query / database query on base of the ANI at the place it suites you best. Or you can do it from the script directly. There the ANI is there referenced by Scripter.Customer Formatted Number .
Pulling the policy number through would work exactly like the other variables.
If I did miss your point, please tell me exactly, what you want to achieve.
Please note that in some cases the ANI is formatted this way: "tel:+xxyyyyyyyyyy"

got most of it working now just need to understand how to get a policy number or a claims reference number to pull through when it is recognised by the ANI the customer is calling from.

Hi Richard,
would you please share screenshots of the pop action with all parameters? And whould you specifiy details what you wrote about, how you are using script names?
Second thought: Have you used the exexution history of your flow to check every value of the screen pop action? That should give some answers what is happening with your variables.
Best
Christoph

Christopher,
Still having issues with this. I have done the following:
1) created a screen pop reusable task
2) added another case of the switch action
3) added a screen pop action
4) set the screen pop name as the script i have created. This script has been saved and published
When i am ringing the queue number i want to attribute the script to it is not popping up. Could this be because the script name is different to the product in the data table entry ?.
I am not using the "standard" method of adding the default script on the voice tab when configuring the queue information which i am used to.

Hi Richard,
sounds like you transfer data from an Architect flow to the script. In that case you will have to:
- in the script: define variable that are cofigured as "input" and save and publish the script
- in the flow: use the "set screen pop" Action and fill in the customer values into the variables you created in step 1.
In case you mean something different, please clarify.

I have created a script and have a number of elements to pull through from what is entered by the customer however it does not appear to be pulling through. I have used Scripter. entries in the script to try and pull data through but it doesn't appear to be doing so.
