Alexis / Oscar,
I did some digging and found this on CloudFlair's forum.
Note, in particular, the comment at the end:
MXToolbox is a good resource. This just happens to be one thing that they get wrong. They report the SOA as invalid if its serial number does not use a specific common format. There is no requirement to use that format, so the status can be safely ignored.
So it looks like it's one of those situations where a specification is not fully defined and different entities interpret it in different ways.

Hello Cameron,
I am Alexis' colleague, but from the support team. I tell you that the client continues to complain about this failure that they present and our doubt regarding your answer is, how can we channel this problem with AWS? Is it something that you can do as Genesys or is there a procedure to directly escalate these cases with AWS support?
It should be noted that this was escalated with Genesys support and Genesys CSM for the region and they asked Alexis to refer this problem to the Genesys forum. Our main problem is being able to give a formal response to the client.
Regards.

Hello Alexis,
I have checked internally with our networking team and found out that since we are a cloud based service this is managed by the overall AWS.
Cheers,

Subject: Serial (SOA) DNS
Hi all,
Please help me with these queries I am receiving regarding the serial number (SOA) of Genesys DNS names.
Why is the DNS propagation series (SOA) in Genesys URLs always set to "1" when queried at the DNS level?
Wouldn't it be better if this serial number were increased during DNS propagation to improve its propagation on the Internet?
Also the serial recommendation should be in YYYYmmdd format:
Thanks!
