There are two notable upcoming UI changes on the Journey Management product that will be released on Monday 19th May at 04:00 ET in all regions.

Change 1: Events List Matching Genesys Cloud Data Schema Events

The event list will change from draggable events organised in channel categories to a single list in logical order of a typical interaction.

    ·         The event names are mostly consistent with how they appear in the source (Analytic Detail Events and Bot Events) and documented clearly to make it easier to identify the source and compare data to performance views that are also based on these events (Interaction View, Queue Performance, Flow Performance, etc.) as well as for those that use those APIs for custom analysis.

    Change 2: Event Card Enhancements

    • Better customization and readability with a higher character allowance for event titles (original 13, new 48), and placement of title above the event rather than within.
    • Tooltips and event menus for easy access to filters, related charts, connectors, and more.
    • Two-click time-series chart creation. Auto-create time series charts directly from event cards.
    • More interactive chart panel that shows all charts or only those related to a selected event makes it easier to tell a data story.

How does this impact current customers?

All existing journeys will be updated to the new event cards with titles above the event cards rather than inline. All tooltips will be active. Events that have associated charts will have a chart icon. Titles will show more characters than previously improving overall readability.

For journeys in edit mode at the time of the updated, changes will be lost unless they are saved before Monday 19th May.

Thank you for that info Aoife. I can't wait for these changes to be rolled out.
