We're updating the pagination behavior of the Get Topics and Get Programs Public API endpoints to align with the standard behavior across Genesys Cloud Public APIs.
What's changing?
Today, the pageCount property returned by these endpoints represents the number of entities returned on the current page.
After this change, pageCount will represent the total number of available pages, consistent with other Genesys Cloud Public APIs, while the total number of entities will continue to be returned by the appropriate existing field.
For example, if there are 100 entities and the page size is 25, pageCount will return 4 instead of 25.
What do I need to do?
For most customers, no action is required. If you have an integration or application that uses pageCount from the Get Topics or Get Programs APIs, we recommend reviewing your implementation to make sure it works with the updated behavior.
