Let us say I already have an active Microsoft Teams call. Then I use the WebRTC call in Genesys to call someone. To release the WebRTC call, I press the hang-up phone icon in WebRTC or the far end disconnects the call. In either case, this also terminates my Teams call. That was unexpected. Did any of you also have this problem?

Device control issues.  Typically, you can't have two applications accessing the microphone at the same time.  At times one will fail to take over or it sounds like in your case that Genesys Cloud is resetting the microphone when it disconnects the call.  Try using two separate devices or avoid using them at the same time.
